m o d e r n p e t is a dog walking and Pet sitting service created by Kris Richardson and Israel matos in Chicago's Wicker Park Neighborhood in 1997. We are a fully licensed, bonded, and insured business and long term members of the NAPPS.
On the verge of our tenth anniversary known as wicker walkers, We're ready for a few changes. We're upgrading our web site and starting paperless online customer billing. Clients are now able to log in to request a service, view their current schedule, and update their billing information. This is a great convenience for our clients and for us!
We feel lucky to get to work with so many amazing pets and we plan to celebrate them more. Each month we will select at least one of our fabulous pets to be our m o d e r n p e t STAR to be featured on a full page of our site. We will include photos, video clips, and anecdotes about our very special pets. And the owners will receive a week of mid-day dog walks on us. Check out who was chosen this month!
We have many more ideas as we enter this new phase of or business. We are now offering Pet Taxi service at competitive rates. Plans are in the works for an online boutique where we will offer organic pet food and treats, and other environmentally friendly and stylish products for today's modern pets and their owners. All the while we pledge to maintain the reliable, flexible, affordable pet care that so many of Chicago's busy people rely on.
